I'm bi-racial so i'm tan. i'm trying to find a color that will match with mt skin tone instead of dark brown like it is now???

What I recommend is that you go blonde. Blonde hair looks great on tanned skin. (Remember Nik from America's Next Top Model Cycle 5?!) Since you are tan what I recommend is that You go a Reese Blonde. Since your hair is dark Brown in order to be blonde you have to bleach your hair first. If you don't bleach and just put the regular blonde color instead you will wind up red. The best blonding product for you out there is the Clairol Born Blonde Maxi it provides the maximum blonding for even the darkest brown without the unwanted brassiness. You will have to leave in the Blonding mixture for at least an hour and a half to lift your dark brown hair into blonde. Your hair will go through several stages before it is fully lightened to blonde. The stages are

1. Dark Brown

2. Brown

3. Red

4. Orange

5. Gold

6. Yellow

7. Pale Yellow

Once you have reached the desired level of lightness just rinse and use the toner to remove any unwanted tones in your hair. Your hair will be a little dry after bleaching so what I recommend is that you do daily moisturizing treatments with mayoniase I know it sounds crazy but mayonaise helps repair bleached hair by adding shine nourishment and defending it against breakage. Just lather leave in for 10 minutes then rinse. To have beautiful golden highlights like reese witherspoon what I recommend is using a box of Clairol Hydrience haircolor over your bleached hair a couple of days after bleaching just to give your bleached hair time to heal. Clairol Hydrience is a beautiful all over color that is never brassy and is gentle to use on bleached hair. It also has a tube of pantene pro v pre and post color treatment. The best shade for you is the Clairol Hydrience #04 Sunrise Light Golden Blonde. Trust me with a box of Clairol Born Blonde and another Box of Clairol Hydrience you will have beautiful Reese Blonde hair that is salon quality without the salon. Also to keep your color vibrant what I recommend is using the Suave Professionals vibrant Blonde shampoo and Conditioner and the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Color glaze platinum to champagne for lighter shades of blonde hair.
