I have relax my hair i want natural hair but do not want to cut it please help me?

ultimately you will have to get the relaxed ends cut off because it is an irreversible process. you can transition back to natural slowly by doing natural styles, twists, rollersets, braids %26amp; others. the point where the natural hair meets the relaxed hair is going to be very fragile so you have to be careful when combing %26amp; detangling your hair.

www.motowngirl.com has tips on transitioning

You can go to the shop and have the Relaxer Removed. Good for you! Natural is prettier........

either just let the relaxer where off and then your hair will be natural

As a hair sylist, I have tried almost every single hair conditioner product on the market. I find for straight hair on a medium budget, TREsemme is great. For naturally curley hair, try Matrix- a little pricy but does wonders.

I hope this helps.

i have never heard of relaxer remover, but then again there are lots of things i dont know about. ask a pro if there is such a thing even google it at a afro american site. i tried that once, i couldnt get it out there is no such thing as waiting for it to grow out if u have very long hair like i do. i had my sister cut it then i changed my mind again %26amp; repermed it. being native american/black my hair is very very long..each touch up costed me about 60.00 to control the curls. i find it thinning now from a lifetime of abuse.

Ok hon i'm not sure what about half of them are talking about in their answers but this is how I went back to natural after relaxing my hair

you have 2 options:

1: chop it all off and learn to take care of your hair as it grows

1: cut it every now and then letting it grow out. (I cut off 4 inches every couple of weeks) Either way you need to make sure you keep your hair moisturized. there are a wealth of websites you can go to that will help you

For the hard days when you just want to relax because it seems so much easier

at the end of the day the only way to go natural is to stop further relaxing, cut off the relaxed bits because they will never go away, get some good maintenance products to keep your hair manageable (www.tashasbeauty.co.nz) and wait.......................................
