Whats good for natural hair(afican ameicans)?

Lot's of moisture. You want to keep your hair from getting dry. Also you want to stay away from products with mineral oil and petrolatum. You want to make sure you wrap your hair at night in a satin wrap. There is tons of information on natural hair on forum.blackhairmedia.com, naturallycurly.com, and happycurls.com. I have learned a lot from them. I hope this helps.

Doo Gro Thickening Lotion

you really need to keep your hair moisturized. especially in winter. use a hot oil treatment once every 2 weeks. heat the oil, put it on hair that has just been shampooed, sit under a dryer for 10 mins, then rinse out. that will keep your hair healthy.

Shea Butter. The real African stuff. I use it as a deep conditioner, a hot oil treatment and as a hair dress. It's the best stuff I've come across and it's helped me a lot during my transition to natural hair after relaxing it for over 2 decades.

is it me or is there something strange about the way you spell?

Anything works for natural hair that works for relaxed hair.

Before I had locks I used the same shampoo and conditioner as before (Pantene Pro V Relaxed and Natural is GREAT). I use the same hot oil stuff for hot oil treatments and that's it really. The only big difference is the fact that I don't need a wrapping lotion.

So basically whatever is good for relaxed hair is good for natural hair.
